The 2018 SAIS Global Women in Leadership Conference, “Marching Into an Equal Future,” will be hosted at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, March 29, 2018.
The annual conference will feature a keynote address from former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Michele Flournoy. She is the CEO of WestExec Advisors and serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
The event also includes panels with experts from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), She Should Run, Women for Women International (WfWI), UN Women, and more. The panelists will explore a range of issues related to gender relations in politics, conflict, and development.

About SAIS Global Women in Leadership
SAIS Global Women in Leadership (GWL) is a student-run career club at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Founded in 2012, GWL has become an integral part of student life at the school and has helped inspire the creation of the SAIS Women’s Leadership Initiative comprising of GWL, the SAIS Women’s Alumni Network (SWAN), and an academic practicum for current students.
