"Us vs. Them: The Failure of Globalism" with Ian Bremmer, president and founder of Eurasia Group and GZERO Media, will be hosted at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). The event is presented by the Dean's Forum and the Foreign Policy Institute.
Johns Hopkins SAIS Dean Vali Nasr will moderate the discussion with Bremmer centering on his latest book, "Us vs. Them: The Failure of Globalism" (Portfolio/Penguin, 2018), a New York Times bestseller.

About the Speaker
Ian Bremmer is the president and founder of Eurasia Group, the leading global political risk research and consulting firm. He is also the president and founder of GZERO Media, a Eurasia Group company dedicated to helping a broad, global audience make sense of today’s leaderless world. Ian is a prolific thought leader and author, regularly expressing his views on political issues in public speeches, television appearances, and top publications, including Time magazine, where he is the foreign affairs columnist and editor-at-large. Once dubbed the “rising guru” in the field of political risk by The Economist, he teaches classes on the discipline as a professor at New York University.

The Foreign Policy Institute (FPI) of Johns Hopkins SAIS was established in 1980 to unite the worlds of scholarship and policy in the search for realistic answers to international issues facing the United States and the world.
