JHU SAIS to Host Forum on U.S.-Republic of Korea Relationship

The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "The United States and the Republic of Korea: Dialogues on the Relationship," on Monday, 04/9 from 1 to 4 p.m.

The forum, hosted by the U.S.-Korea Institute at SAIS, features the following participants:

  • Victor Cha, director for Korea and Japan at the National Security Council
  • Wendy Cutler, assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Japan, Korea and APEC Affairs and chief U.S. negotiator for the Korean-U.S. (KORUS) Free Trade Agreement negotiations
  • Christopher Hill, assistant secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs and head of the U.S. delegation to the Six-Party Talks on the North Korean nuclear issue

Admittance to the event is by invitation only. However, the event is open to the media for coverage.

The session will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the school*s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
