JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Crisis in Sudan

The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a forum, "What Next for Darfur, Sudan?" on Wednesday, 06/16 at 12:30 p.m.

The forum, hosted by the SAIS Center for Displacement Studies and SAIS Refugee Policy Forum, features a discussion of the current political and humanitarian situation in Darfur.

Panelists include:

· Francis Deng, representative of the U.N. Secretary-General on Internally Displaced Persons and director of the SAIS Center for Displacement Studies

· Ahmed Diraige, former governor of Darfur

· John Prendergast, special adviser to the president, International Crisis Group

The event, which is open to the public, will be held in room 417 of the Nitze Building, located at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
