JHU SAIS to Host 10th Annual Washington Energy Policy Conference

The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a one-day conference, "Global Energy Perspectives: Supply Security, Economic Development and Sustainability," on Wednesday, 04/26 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The National Capital Area Chapter of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics (USAEE) is co-sponsoring the event with the SAIS International Energy and Environment Program.

Edgard Habib, chief economist for ChevronTexaco, will give the keynote address about "Global Oil and Gas Markets" at approximately 9:15 a.m. Expert speakers from industry, government, consulting firms and academia will speak throughout the day in the following panel sessions:

The conference will be held in the Kenney Auditorium, first floor of the SAIS Nitze Building at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.

Admission to the conference by members of the public requires registration and there is a fee of $120 for USAEE members and $140 for nonmembers. To register, contact [email protected] or 202.663.5786.
