JHU SAIS to Host Discussion on Kashmir Elections

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a discussion, "Kashmir Elections: Results and Implications," on Tuesday, 10/29 at 2 p.m.

Panelists for this event hosted by the South Asian Department at SAIS, include:

  • Usmaan Ahmad, member of the Central Diplomatic Bureau, Jammu-Kashmir Liberation Front
  • Walter Andersen, head of Office for Analysis of South Asia, State Department, Adjunct at SAIS
  • Selig Harrison, director of the Asia Program at the Center for International Policy, Author of "India: The Most Dangerous Decades"
  • Vijay Sazawal, international coordinator for Indo-American Kashmir Forum, Political Analyst on history of Jammu-Kashmir
