Former Brazilian President Cardoso to Speak at JHU SAIS

   
 

Fernando Henrique Cardoso, the former president of Brazil, will speak at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Wednesday, March 29 at 12:30 p.m.

Cardoso, who served as Brazil's president from January 1995 to December 2002, will speak about his new book, The Accidental President of Brazil: A Memoir, which details his unique experience as the leader of this politically vibrant and culturally rich country.

Admittance to the event is by invitation only. However, the event is open to the media for coverage.

The lecture, hosted by the SAIS Western Hemisphere Studies Program, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
