National Security Adviser Rice to Speak at JHU SAIS

Condoleezza Rice, national security adviser and assistant to the president for national security affairs, will give the annual Rostov Lecture on International Affairs at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Monday, 04/29 at noon.

Rice is expected to speak about "The War on Terrorism and the Bush Administration's Foreign Policy." She originally was scheduled to give the Rostov Lecture on 09/11/2001.

The lecture is not open to the public. However, the event is open to the media for coverage. Following her lecture, Rice will respond to questions from the SAIS community audience only.

The event will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.

SAIS will host a live Webcast of Rice's remarks available on the school's Web site at www.sais-jhu.edu at noon on 04/29. The audio and video of the lecture also will be archived on the site for future access.

Established in 1990, the Rostov Lecture on International Affairs honors the memory of Johns Hopkins alumnus and businessman Charles Rostov.
