JHU SAIS to Host Foreign Policy Briefing Featuring Sen. Lugar

The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a briefing, "Foreign Policy: A View From Congress," on Tuesday, 09/13 at 7:45 a.m. in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The forum, hosted by the SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations, SAIS's Transatlantic Magazine and The Financial Times, features the following participants:

  • Richard Lugar, Republican U.S. senator from Indiana and chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will give the keynote remarks.
  • Lionel Barber, U.S. managing editor of The Financial Times
  • Robert Guttman, editor-in-chief of Transatlantic Magazine

The event, which is open to the public, will be held in Hearing Room 419 of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C. Attendees should go the 1st and C Streets, N.E. entrance to receive specific directions to the visitor's entrance for that day. Also please arrive early to allow time to clear security.
