JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Europe After Sept. 11

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Europe After September 11" on Tuesday, December 18 at 10 a.m.

This forum, hosted by the Center for Transatlantic Relations at SAIS, coincides with the release of new report prepared by the Centre for European Reform in London. The report's authors from the center, Charles Grant, director, Edward Bannerman, head of the Economics and Business Unit, and Steven Everts, senior research fellow, will be the featured speakers. They will discuss their recommendations for ways Europeans-and the European Union in particular-can work with the United States and others to confront the common challenge of terrorism. Copies of the report will be available at the event.

The event, open to the public and the media, will be held in the auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Rome Building, 1619 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5880 or [email protected].
