Iraqi Ambassador Rend Al-Rahim to Speak at SAIS

Rend Al-Rahim, ambassador-designate of Iraq to the United States, will speak at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Monday, March 22 at noon.

A native of Iraq, Al-Rahim was selected by the Iraqi Governing Council in November 2003 to be Iraq's representative in Washington, D.C. She is a founder of the Iraq Foundation and was its executive director from 1991 to November 2003.

The lecture, which is open to the public, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
