Dutch Finance Minister to Speak at JHU SAIS

J.F. Hoogervorst, minister of finance of the Netherlands, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Tuesday, 10/1 at 1 p.m.

Hoogervorst, a SAIS graduate, will speak about "Europe: The Challenges Ahead," specifically addressing the need for reform of the European welfare state and the need for fiscal discipline in Europe's monetary union.
