Contact: Nicole Epps, SGA Social Chair Social Committee Overview The SGA Social Committee is a group comprised of first and second year students that organize and promote social events for the SAIS student body throughout the school year. Proceeds from these events are donated at the end of the academic year to the summer internship fund, via Career Services. The Social Committee hosts a series of events throughout the year open to students, faculty and friends of the SAIS community. Your participation is invited and encouraged! Goals and Objectives - Raise funds for the Summer Internship Fund!
- Establish the Social Committee early in the academic year and develop a timeline of events.
- Promote the Social Committee as a core element of the SAIS social experience by encouraging school-wide participation.
- Alert students to the significant contribution made by the SGA to the summer internship fund
- Expand upon the core events hosted by the Social Committee into other areas – organize mixers with other IR schools and any other events requested by the student body.
