Arai Monteforte Club Overview
The SAIS Energy Career Club is a student-run organization dedicated to helping SAIS students enhance their understanding of the energy sector and explore a wide range of career opportunities within it; through organizing career panels, lectures by distinguished guests, roundtable discussions with club alumni, and site visits. The topics and career paths discussed so far include market and policy analysis, investment banking, and publi cadministration in petroleum, gas, electricity, coal, nuclear, and renewable energy industries. The club has also focused on improving ties between key energy sector employers and Johns Hopkins SAIS, by outreach to SAIS alumni in the sector and marketing SAIS students’ keen understanding of the sector and unique skill sets grounded in international economics and energy policy.
