Careers in Development Club (CID) is an energetic group of SAIS students with a passion for international development. Our club focuses on networking and getting students face-time with alumni, specialists, practitioners and leaders in the development field. Club members pick what events to hold each year, depending on what area of development interests them. Popular events have included: - A USAID training
- A career trek to a microfinance organization
- An alumni panel on program management in the field
- A social entrepreneurship panel and discussion
- A humanitarian aid brown bag lunch
- A “speed interning” happy hour with 2nd year students
- A World Bank breakfast with alumni
CID also sends out exclusive job and internship postings to club members and collaborates with other SAIS clubs and academic departments to hold the best events possible, and help students find meaningful careers post-SAIS. View Photos from Recent Events
