Philosophy Club at SAIS

President: Paul Alois

As SAIS students, we are learning a lot about the state of global affairs in the modern world.  We know a bit about law, a bit about politics, and a few of us claim to know some economics.  However, we are rarely asked to think about what it means, create a normative context, or take a stand on right and wrong.  If you think that there is more to being human than maximizing production and consumption, then the Philosophy Club is for you.

We meet every few weeks to talk about the meaning of life, the existence of God, and whatever else comes to mind.  We also drink a lot of beer...

If you are interested in learning about upcoming events you can email us.

Read a SAISObserver about the club. (Under its previous name, Integral Theory Club)
