International Student and Scholar Services | Keep a Valid I-20 or DS-2019 at All Times
You must maintain a valid I-20 or DS-2019 as it, along with your I-94 card, serves as evidence of your continued legal status. Your I-20 or DS-2019 should accurately reflect your program of study, the degree sought and the source of your financial support at all times. When you change programs of study or schools, or when the nature of your financial support changes, your I-20 or DS-2019 needs to be updated to reflect these changes. You should contact ISSS to request updated documents as soon as any changes occur.
