Students and the entire SAIS community are invited to these informal talks held during the lunch hour throughout the academic year. The sessions are designed to allow for guest speakers to talk about current political, security and economic issues affecting the U.S.-Japan relationship followed by questions from SAIS students. The past academic year saw William Breer (Japan Chair, CSIS), Dr. Michael Green (Director for Asian Security, NSC), Glenn Fukushima (President and CEO, Cadence Design Systems), and Dr. Edward Lincoln (Senior Fellow, The Brookings Institution).
