Buenos Aires: Discussion with Dr. José María Lladós ’70 and Professor Riordan Roett
Tuesday, March 21 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Dr. José María Lladós ’70, Academic Secretary, Consejo Argentino para las Relaciones Internacionales (CARI), welcomed SAIS alumni to participate in a discussion on “Argentine Foreign Relations Under President Macri’s Government.” The session was held during a visit with Dr. Riordan Roett, SAIS Director of Latin American Studies, and a Latin American Studies Program (LASP) student delegation.

The Brazil Alumni Club has been quietly active for many years meeting for dinners in various alumni homes for Carnival and other occasions in Sao Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro, often in conjunction with visits by Johns Hopkins SAIS faculty.

The Colombia Alumni Club held its first event on August 15, 2009 with Professor Francis Fukuyama in Medellin. The Club is planning to organize several gatherings throughout this year.
