JHU SAIS to Host Black History Month Event Featuring N.Y. Congressman Charles Rangel
Charles B. Rangel, Democratic congressman from New York and chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, will be the featured speaker at a Black History Month celebration hosted by the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Wednesday, February 27 at 7 p.m. (A reception will precede Rangel’s remarks at 6 p.m.)
Rangel will speak about “International Trade Policy” at this event sponsored by the SAIS African Diaspora Association and SAIS Trade Club student groups.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to sjankowsky@jhu.edu or 202.663.5705.
