Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and The American Interest will hold a forum, “Existential Threat or Historical Footnote? What Our Obsession With Islam Is Costing Us,” on Monday, September 15 at 5 p.m. Panelists for this event include: - Bernard-Henri Lévy, renowned French journalist, philosopher and author of Left in Dark Times: A Stand Against the New Barbarism (to be released September 16 by Random House)
- Francis Fukuyama, director of the SAIS International Development Program and the Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy
- John Mueller, Woody Hayes Chair of National Security Studies at Ohio State University
- Adam Garfinkle (moderator), editor of The American Interest and former speechwriter to Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice
