Vision / Mission

The alumni of Hopkins-Nanjing Center are an invaluable resource that grows greater every year. There are currently over 1,000 alumni working around the globe and many of them have a strong attachment to the Center and the valuable part it has played in their careers. The international renown of the Hopkins Nanjing Center is due to the enthusiasm and success of its alumni.
We have a commitment to our graduated students, to keep their talents and connections an important part of our community, and to use the Center as the nexus of a network of peers whose influence and creativity benefits everyone who has shared in the Hopkins-Nanjing experience.

Hopkins-Nanjing Center students met with Senators Barbara
Mikulski, Paul Sarbanes, and Bob Graham in Hawaii to discuss
Sino-American relations from the perspective of Capitol Hill
as part of a delegation sponsored by the Aspen Institute. Center
alumni pass on their unique experience through their personal
and professional interactions. |
We are developing an alumni program that will ensure excellence in these areas:
- Reputation. Make alumni a core part of the Center's identity to strengthen its public recognition and renown.
- Connection. Maximize for alumni the benefits of a vital network of peers.
- Commitment. Mobilize for the Center the talents, connections, and support of its alumni.
