| | SAIS International Development Program Publishes Annual Journal Focusing on Development Organizations The SAIS International Development Program recently published the 2006 edition of SAIS Perspectives, the program's annual publication written by students, faculty and alumni that provides a forum for discussion and debate of critical, cutting-edge topics with the goal of proposing new and innovative ways of thinking about the practice of international development. This year's issue entitled, "The Perceptions and Reality of Development Organizations," reflects the gaps between the actions and intentions of international development actors and discusses the politics that have created these discrepancies. | SAIS Hosted Foreign Policy Forum With Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack on June 13 The SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations, Transatlantic magazine and the Financial Times co-hosted a forum, "Foreign Policy: A Governor's View," that featured Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack on Tuesday, June 13. Other panelists included Chrystia Freeland, U.S. managing editor of the Financial Times, and Robert Guttman, editor-in-chief of Transatlantic.
