The U.S.-Israel relationship is often categorized as a “special relationship,â€ù on par with U.S. – U.K. ties. This course examines the genesis of that relationship, its historical evolution over time, and the present dynamics in a changing Middle East. Special emphasis is placed on analyzing the strategic and political pillars of the relationship, and its performance in times of crisis and war.
