Explores contemporary issues in South and North Korea and their relationship with the United States. Students prepare individual reports on selected issues for a U.S.-Korea Yearbook to be published by SAIS in 2009. At a time to be determined, student authors travel as a group with their professor on a one-week research trip to Seoul to test their ideas with experts and officials and revise their reports on their return.
