Practice-based introduction to the strategic, organizational, and tactical challenges faced by multinationals in emerging markets. Students will develop skills in conducting applied research and real world problem solving for multinational corporate clients, as well as presentation building skills targeted at a senior audience. Special focus will be placed upon root cause analysis of management challenges, country business environment forecasting, and industry-specific trend evaluation. Finalists will then be interviewed in early November, with final selection decisions announced by late November. Prerequisites: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Qualifies as one of the economics course requirements for the Emerging Markets concentration.
