The purpose of this seminar is to promote independent research within the SAIS European Studies program on both sides of the Atlantic. The seminar draws heavily on student involvement and presentation. The students who participate include both advanced MA candidates and students already at the doctoral level. The seminar meets for thirteen two-hour sessions. Some of these sessions will be organized around a research conference to be held over the Easter weekend in April.
