Delivering Development Assistance

 
Introduces the foreign aid system and focuses on the challenges in delivering effective aid and some of the policy debates about aid’s role. Topics discussed include the definition of official development assistance, aid flows, the project cycle and monitoring and evaluation, corruption, fungibility, ownership, conditionality, the creation of perverse incentives and challenges to the personal security and wellbeing of aid workers.
