Counterinsurgency

 
Provides advanced grounding in counterinsurgency theory, concepts and practical applications. The course includes a theoretical module where students explore contemporary and classical theories of counterinsurgency, a concepts module introducing the concepts of conflict ethnography and competitive control theory, and an application module where students develop practical planning, evaluation and implementation tools for specific cases of insurgency.
