Analyzes a range of transactions that highlight how international financial institutions and financial markets function in practice, how risks are assessed and how financial decisions are made. Weekly case assignments cover how transactions are originated, structured, valued and sold in the financial marketplace, e.g., a global equity offering, a sovereign debt issue, privatization involving foreign strategic investors and a private equity transaction. Course is very interactive and requires a high level of weekly preparation and class participation. Prerequisites: International Financial Markets or Corporate Finance. Limited to 25 students.
