SAIS Remote Server Access

The SAIS Remote Server provides access to SAIS applications and network drives from any PC or Mac.  IIncluded are the following business continuity software resources:

• AdAstra
• STATA
• Adobe Acrobat to create PDF's
• Impatica
• Office 2007
• Blackboard JCard Access
• Home (H:) and Shared Drives (S: and U:)
• JHU enterprise Web applications

PC users running Internet Explorer can access the SAIS Remote Server by doing the following:

1. Connect to the Hopkins network by using the JHConnect VPN Client
2. After successfully connecting to the Hopkins network, browse to this Web page: http://saisremote.jhu.edu
3. Make sure to install and run any ActiveX controls when prompted
4. Check the box on the form to send your login information and enter your JHED user name
5. Click "Connect"
6. Enter your JHED credentials to login to the server
7. If prompted, enter your JHED ID to map your JSHare account to the SAIS Remote Server's J drive
8. Please make sure you to log off after completing your session

Apple Macintosh users need to follow these instructions to access the SAIS Remote Server.
