Part of the International Relations: Not Only Realism Seminar SeriesKen Booth is senior research associate in the Department of International Politics, Aberystwyth University where he was formerly E.H. Carr Professor and head of the Department. He has been the editor of
International Relations since 2003, and director of the David Davies Memorial Institute of International Studies since 2010. He was vice-chair and chair of the British International Studies Association, and its first president. Ken Booth has published over forty journal articles, nearly thirty book chapters, and approximately twenty-five books.

Theory of World Security (2007),
The Security Dilemma: Fear, Cooperation and Trust in World Politics (2008) with Nicholas J. Wheeler, an edited volume
Realism and World Politics (2011), and
Terror in Our Time (2012) with Tim Dunne. He is a Fellow of the British Academy (FBA) and in 2004 he was recipient of the ISA's Susan Strange Award in recognition of his contribution to International Studies.
