Patricia Clavin is fellow and tutor at Jesus College, Oxford and professor of International History in the Faculty of History of the University of Oxford. She is a former editor of the journal Contemporary European History and Research Director of the Modern European History Research Centre, Oxford. She has published extensively on the history of international relations between the two world wars and the history of the Great Depression. Professor Clavin has just completed a new study of the League of Nations based on extensive primary research entitled Securing the World Economy: The Reinvention of the League of Nations, 1920-1946 published by Oxford University Press.
