Professor Marysia Zalewski has published widely on gender, feminism, masculinities and international relations. Her work has appeared in numerous journals including: Millennium: Journal of International Studies, Review of International Studies, British Journal of Politics and International Relations, and International Feminist Journal of Politics. Books include International Theory: Positivism and Beyond, Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 4th edition (co-edited with S. Smith & K. Booth, 2004), Intervening in Northern Ireland: Critically re-thinking representations of the conflict London: Routledge (co-edited with John Barry, 2008) and The Man Question, Westview Press (1998) and Rethinking the Man Question, Zed Press (2008) (both co-edited with Jane Parpart). Her next book, Feminist International Relations: Exquisite Corpse will be published by Routledge in early 2013. Professor Zalewski will receive an eminent scholar award at the annual convention of the International Studies Association in San Francisco, April 2013 for her contribution to the discipline. She is currently head of the School of Social Science at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
