Part of the International Economics Seminar SeriesVeronica Rappoport has been a lecturer at the London School of Economics since 2011. She obtained her Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005 and worked as an assistant professor at Columbia Business School until 2011. Her research is in theoretical and empirical international trade, investment, and finance. Her work analyzes the international flows of direct investment and, more recently, the effect of credit fluctuations on exports. Her research has been published in leading international and macroeconomic journals. Veronica is also a research associate at the Center of Economic Performance.
