Course Syllabi

Professors in the Conflict Management department at Johns Hopkins SAIS have contributed syllabi from several of their ongoing courses to the Toolkit's resources archive. These are meant to be a resource either for professors intending to put together and teach similar courses of their own, for students seeking greater depth for their own courses, or for practitioners seeking more knowledge in the areas addressed by each course.

All syllabi are in .pdf format.

Principles and Practices of Conflict Management

Arms Control and the Non-Proliferation Regime

Conflict and Cooperation in International Relations

Dispute Settlement Methods

International Economic Negotiation

International Bargaining and Negotiation

Mediation: Theory and Practice

Multilateral Negotiations

Patterns of Protest and Revolt

Post-Conflict Reconstruction

Theory and Practice of Alliance Politics

The Conflict Management Toolkit encourages other universities and professors to contribute syllabi from their own, related courses. If you have a relevant syllabus and would like it published in the Toolkit, please contact Natalie Wilkins
