The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Joint MA/MHS Degree Fellowship 2008/2009

These fellowships are intended to train the next generation of global health leaders. The fellowships allow those who have training in the technical skills of public health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to learn about the political, economic and foreign policy context in which global health operates at SAIS. The small number of fellowships offer full tuition support for the SAIS portion of a joint MA/MHS with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Click here for further details.

The 2008/2009 MA/MHS Fellowship competition has closed.  Please check back in Fall 2008 for further information.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Health Summer Internship Program 2008

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Health Summer Internship Program provides funding to enable SAIS students interested in global health issues to create a summer internship.  This is an excellent opportunity for students to craft a unique internship that will provide work/field experience in their specific area of interest within global health.  The fellowship may be used to work with any appropriate global health institution or project.  Generally, internships are structured around field-based implementation of public health programs, research in the field, or at international institutions.
