- Course Description
This course is designed to give participants a fundamental understanding of the skills and tools they need to manage demanding and complicated projects successfully. These skills are important because, increasingly, executives in the public, private, and voluntary sectors are called upon to manage discrete projects – i.e. special initiatives with clear start and end dates, designed to generate a particular outcome. Using case studies and in-class exercises, the course explains how to manage project cost, scope, quality, schedule, and risk and explores how to integrate and balance these imperatives.
