This course will introduce some of the advanced principles of International Accounting for Financial Statement Presentations. The course includes a review of basic accounting, a CD which covers the Conceptual Frameworks on International Accounting Standard, a review of organizations, and a short final assignment using International Standards. Students will analyze the International Standard Financial Reporting Standard and International Accounting Standard. They will learn how the impact of international standards impact comparisons and understand their scope as presented in financial statements and footnote disclosure.
