RefWorks is a “reference manager” that helps you store and organize citations, move them into your documents, and change citation style as needed. To login to RefWorks, choose “login from my institution.”  First time users will be asked to provide a Hopkins email address and fill out a short form. For subsequent logins, you’ll see the familiar JHED login screen.

Log in to New RefWorks

Request Materials

If what you need is not available from Catalyst, the JHU Libraries catalog, you can request material from other libraries.

For books, the first step is Borrow Direct, where you can search and request books from partner universities. Expect delivery in 5 business days. If Borrow Direct does not have what you need, try Interlibrary Loan (ILL). For more information see our ILL Guide.

For journal articles not available via Johns Hopkins, you can go straight to ILL.

Want to recommend a book that the Library should own? Ask a Librarian to consider it.
