Dear Admitted SAIS Students,
Congratulations on your acceptance to SAIS! The Office of Alumni Relations is proud to welcome you to the community and we want to give you an opportunity to meet with alumni who stay connected through SAIS clubs in key locations and evolving groups worldwide. Our alumni hold positions of leadership in government, business, journalism, non-profit and multilateral sectors and can offer insights on how their student experience benefitted them after completing their degrees.   1. SAIS Alumnus Quoted in Inside Tucson Business

    Enrique Velasco Ibarra '91 was recently quotedin InsideTucson Business on issues relatad to Mexico receiving natural gas from Arizona.

  2. Interview With Executive Director of Towson University's TowsonGlobal Business Incubator

    An article was published recently in BMoreMedia.com highlighting a discussion with Clay Hickson '89, Executive Director of Towson University's TowsonGlobal Businss Incubator titled, "Nurturing Success: Growth in Store for Towson Incubator."

  3. Young Professional Network at the Eurasia Foundation

    A significant five (two SAIS graduates and three current students) of 32 were selected to be part of the inaugural Young Professional Network at the Eurasia Foundation. The five were:Anna Borshchevskaya '09, Colin Sollitt '12; current students include Diana Galperin, Joshua Noonan, and Alina Tourkova.

  4. Recent Alumna Publishes Article in Consumer Energy Report

    SAIS alumna Allison Asplin '12 published a recent article in Consumer Energy Report on "Why Energy Efficiency and Buildings Don't Mix."

  5. New Naming of a Consul General

    A new SAIS alumna, Anne Casper '92, was recently named the new General Consul at the U.S. Consulate in Jeddah.

  6. President Obama Names a New Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus

    In early June, President Obama announced his nomination for another key administrative post for the U.S. government. John M. Koenig S'83, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, has been named the new ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus and will begin this new position in the coming months.
