Occurring just two weeks before the American presidential election, the timing of this year’s Alumni College is quite opportune. We have seen how U.S. foreign policy can affect even the furthest reaches of the globe. What regional and functional priorities must the next president have in order to achieve success both home and abroad? Through a combination of lectures and interactive seminars, distinguished faculty members and leading U.S. policymakers will address a range of political, national security and economic issues facing the United States in what is a vital transition year for foreign policy. In a “change” election, participants will examine whether changes must be made and where, how, why and when. This year’s interactive classroom sessions include examinations on China policy, intelligence and security, economic trade policy, democracy promotion and a focus on several global regions. Do not miss this opportunity to explore these and other timely issues with fellow alumni, friends of SAIS, current students, guest speakers and SAIS faculty.
