SAIS and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University share a cooperative agreement that grants advanced standing to students who wish to complete both degrees, reducing the total study time required. SAIS offers Maxwell students one semester of advanced standing in recognition of their M.P.A. course work, and the Maxwell School grants SAIS students advanced standing equal to approximately one summer semester.
This cooperative program is intended to provide students with advanced skills in public administration management, economic and financial analysis and international public policy. The breadth and depth of practical management and analytical skills offered perfectly suits the educational goals of those whose interests range across a broad spectrum of domestic and international public policy issues.
