SAIS and the Bloomberg School of Public Health of The Johns Hopkins University offer a three-year M.A.-Master of Health Science program designed to prepare students for careers that combine international relations, regional studies and public health. The program is designed to prepare students for development-related careers that require a high level of health-care expertise and a sophisticated understanding of international, political, socioeconomic and cultural issues. Emphasis is given to the synthesis of knowledge and experience essential for planning and managing health services in a variety of settings around the world.
