Tertulia/Bate Papo Students interested in practicing conversational Spanish and/or Portuguese can attend or host a Tertulia/Bate Papo, a regular gathering for informal discussion and social exchange. Latin American Film Series Interested students and WHS staff collaborate to organize a series of Latin American films that provide additional insight on cultural and historical issues in the region. Canada Trip Students in Western Hemisphere Studies will be eligible to participate in a biennial, week-long series of meetings with top policymakers in Ottawa and Quebec City.
