Linh Le A 2007 summa cum laude graduate of Lycoming College in Pennsylvania, Linh Le earned his undergraduate degree in political science, economics, and French literature. Through his earlier experience working with young people all over the world, Linh has acquired a special interest in youth issues and youth-led development. During the summer of 2008, Linh interned with the Education Policy & Reform Unit of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Regional Bureau of Education in Bangkok, Thailand. His work consisted mainly of preparing new intervention strategies for UNESCO in its member countries, as well as studying the formulation of medium-term expenditure frameworks in education finance. Before SAIS, Linh had also interned for the United Nations Development Programme in Hanoi, Vietnam. Going onto his second year at SAIS, Linh is working toward his M.A. in International Affairs with concentration in Southeast Asia Studies. Equipped with a good academic record and a passion to make positive changes in the world, Linh plans to pursue a career in development in Southeast Asia. |
