Kelly Keehan

A 2003 graduate of the George Washington University, Kelly earned her undergraduate degree in international affairs.  Always keen to learn new languages, she knew that international relations was the right career path for her after studying and volunteering in Asia.

After graduation, she worked briefly for a World Bank consultant before receiving a Fulbright grant to Taiwan.  After her year in Asia, Kelly returned to Washington, D.C., to work with Conservation International.  There she oversaw the administration of a portfolio of more than 100 grants to civil society groups across Asia.

In 2007, she joined ACDI/VOCA where she has been managing a program to empower smallholder cocoa farmers in Indonesia.  As a first-year student at SAIS, Kelly is continuing this work while pursuing her M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Southeast Asia Studies.
