Brian Jungwiwattanaorn

After graduating in 1999 with degrees in international relations and economics, Brian worked for the State Street Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts.  Although he enjoyed his experience working in finance, he applied and was accepted to the Teach for America program. He spent several years teaching at an under-resourced school in Los Angeles. Following his experiences in education, Brian joined the U.S. Peace Corps and spent the next two years working in Bangladesh.

Currently Brian is attending his second year at SAIS. He is earning an M.A. in International Relations with a focus on Southeast Asia Studies.  With the strong academic background provided by SAIS, he hopes to pursue a career in international development in Southeast Asia.
