Meghan Houlihan Meghan Houlihan graduated with honors in Chinese language and literature from Hamilton College in 2005. She then attended the Hopkins-Nanjing Center (HNC) in China, was class committee chairperson and received her certificate in Chinese studies. Upon returning to the United States in 2006, Meghan joined the Hopkins-Nanjing Center’s administrative team as alumni coordinator. This position allowed for professional growth and furthered her understanding of Sino-international relations with exercises in event planning, alumni outreach, and programmatic issues. During her time with the HNC Washington Office, she coordinated the Center's 20th Anniversary celebration and managed the annual Career Day in Shanghai China. She broadened her appreciation of SAIS’s position in international relations, and continued with her studies there. Now entering her first year of full-time study, Meghan seeks an M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Southeast Asian Studies. Excited to learn Thai, she plans to broaden her understanding of Southeast Asia. |
