Jennifer Hendrixson

A 2003 graduate of the University of California at Davis, Jennifer earned undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Economics. Jennifer’s interests in international affairs stem from her experiences as a volunteer in Mexico, a student in Europe and two years living and working in China.

From 2005-2007, Jennifer worked as a research analyst for Geneva Global, Inc. in Beijing, China. Her primary responsibilities were to identify, examine and recommend humanitarian projects for funding by the company’s philanthropic clients. Most recently, Jennifer has been working with a small ngo on the Thai/Burma border that demobilizes child soldiers.

Jennifer is beginning her first year at SAIS, pursuing an M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Southeast Asia Studies and specializations in International Finance and Emerging Markets.  With the experiences and expertise that she gains at SAIS, Jennifer would like to continue her career in the non-profit sector and work toward curbing exploitation of women and children.
